Volunteer Opportunities
Our greatest asset is the support we get from our community. There are many ways to get involved, whether it be a donation of goods, such as farm and garden equipment, or some of your time working in our gardens and our office. We are always excited to hear from other non-profits and local businesses for potential partnerships. Hartford Food System would not exist without the support of financial contributors who share our commitment to long-term solutions to Hartford’s food problems. Eighty-five percent of every dollar we receive goes directly into programs that serve the community, with 10.3% spent on management and administration and only 4.6% on fundraising.
